The Marlborough Civic Theatre Trust welcome NZTrio to the opening celebrations of the ASB Theatre Marlborough and to use the Trust’s newest gift – a Steinway Concert Grand Piano!
This programme begins with the fiery rhythms of Piazzolla’s two tangos: Primavera Portena and Oblivion and moves to the deftly woven sounds of David Hamilton’s Faraday Cage and John Musto’s (USA) Piano Trio, finishing with the lusciously sweeping Piano Trio No. 2 by Saint-Saens.
