Embark on a unique voyage merging Pacific and Western music in ‘TOLU’ - a collaboration by Pacific Dance NZ and NZTrio. Immerse yourself in a sonic tapestry from Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Tahiti, Hawaii, and Aotearoa.

NZTrio, featuring Ashley Brown, Amalia Hall, and guest pianist Liam Wooding, crafts a vibrant narrative with their instruments. TOLU isn’t just a performance; it’s a journey across Moana Nui A Kiwa, where vibrant Pacific cultures converge.

🌟 It's always nice to be mobbed by adoring fans! 😁 We had a great turn out at our school session at @pinehurstschool with lots of enthusiastic kids who listened very attentively and had some great questions! The trio had a ball supplying autographs for all their new fans at the end of the session. Huge thanks to Pinehurst for hosting us and Freemasons Foundation for supporting our education programmes!

🌟 We're heading to New Plymouth for Taranaki Arts Festival's WinterFest next week! We'll be onstage performing Subtle Dances with @balletcollectiveaotearoa 🩰🎵

The music is amazing - Helix by John Psathas, Subtle Dances by Claire Cowan, and The Last Time We Spoke by Rhian Sheehan, rearranged for NZTrio by Ryan Youens - and this triple bill features dazzling choreography by Sarah Knox, Loughlan Prior and Cameron McMillan and dynamic performances by New Zealand's top dancers, including Abigail Boyle.

🎹🎻🚙 Like a dream our Triptych 1 tour has ended after months of planning and preparation! Thank you to our wonderful audiences across Te Ika-a-Māui - we had a great time 😊 It was wonderful to have Sarah Watkins as our guest pianist and Somi will be back in September for Triptych 2 - Untrodden Ways. Yay! 🎉

Our final 2 concerts in Palmerston North and Havelock North were supported by the @thelionfoundationnz This support was vital for getting NZTrio on the road - thank you!

🍹we have another fabulous signature cocktail cr

🍹we have another fabulous signature cocktail crafted for us by the wonderful Claire Filer, soprano and spirit connoisseur. This is more than just your average alcoholic iced tea! Its harmonious triptych of ingredients combines the floral, citral and bitter tannic notes of British favourite Earl Grey with comforting spices and NZ honey, warming juniper-led gin and a touch of tart lemon. 🐝🍋 Let us know what you think!

The recipe:
60ml gin
60ml earl grey tea
30ml spiced honey syrup
Stir all ingredients with ice and garnish with slices of lemon
For the spiced honey syrup - combine equal parts strong chai tea and honey
