We are thrilled to be able to offer our Q&A initiative “Chamber Chats with NZTrio” to secondary school students. A product of the period of lockdown in 2020, this project is one that we will take forward post-Covid restrictions, as it provides a wonderful way of connecting with students around Aotearoa in areas we often may not be able to visit in person.
There is no fee for the session; we just need students to be able to access Zoom as a group or individually.
Some topics we can cover as part of this discussion include:
- How to form a chamber ensemble
- Collaboration challenges
- What makes a good programme
- How to approach a new work
- Being your own teacher/coach
- Pursuing a career in music
- Overcoming stage nerves
- Researching and sourcing repertoire
- Tertiary study
